Introduction

Streamlining documentation for audits is vital in lab management. Scispot simplifies this process by allowing you to directly print your audit reports from executed protocols and experiments. This guide walks you through the quick steps to obtain these documents, ensuring you're prepared for audits without the manual hassle.

Steps to Print Activity Record

  1. Log In: Access your account by logging in.

  2. Navigate to Labspace: Select 'Labspace' from the left navigation bar.

  3. Select Labspace: Choose your preferred Labspace (e.g., HTS, Cell-based analysis, Therapeutic Efficacy).

  4. Access Experiment: Go to the desired Experiment (e.g., Analyzing the presence of a biomarker for neurodegenerative disorders).

  5. Retrieve Activity Record: Click the 'Saved [_ seconds/minutes ago]' tab to fetch the activity record specific to this page, that you can leverage to prepare your audit reports. Alternatively, you can click the 3 dots or options button in the top right of the screen and select 'Activity'

  6. Activity Log: A detailed activity log will open, showcasing all activities. You can download it by selecting 'Download PDF'

The process for printing your activity records for protocols is just as straightforward.

  1. Navigate to Protocols: Within your Experiment, locate the section for Protocols (Eg: Processing human blood samples for qPCR)

  2. Select Protocol: Choose the specific protocol, and click the 'View Protocol' option.

  3. Download Activity Log: Just like activity records for experiments, you can download the 'Activity Logs' from your protocol page to see who executed the processing of blood samples, when it was done, and how you or your team carried it out.

You can print an Audit Report from each of your protocols and experiments by following the steps given below:

  1. Click the options button at the top right corner

  2. Select "PDF Ready Document" option

  3. Select the options that you want to include in your report. (Eg: Protocols, Labsheets, Activity Log, etc)

  4. Click the "Generate" button

  5. Save and print your PDF.

Conclusion

With Scispot, preparing for audits is efficient and straightforward. This functionality not only saves time but also ensures your laboratory's compliance with necessary documentation standards. Scispot supports your lab's operational excellence and readiness for audits.
