Now, you can embed images directly into your Labsheets, making it easier than ever to correlate visual data with your sample information. This concise guide will walk you through effortlessly incorporating visual data into your research documentation. Whether it's integrating detailed images from gel electrophoresis, flow cytometry, or utilizing advanced microscopy from brands like Leica, Zeiss, and Nikon, this feature simplifies the process.
Moreover, if you're developing training sets for machine learning (ML) models, Labsheets can now help automate the arrangement and preparation of your image data in an ML-ready format.
Integrate Your Instrument: Integrate your analytical instrument like Mass Spec, Microscope, or qPCR with Scispot and easily embed the resulting image in Labsheet after each execution.

Here's a step-by-step guide to uploading images in Labsheet without integration:
Log in to Your Scispot Account: Start by accessing your account. Your dashboard is the gateway to a more organized and efficient workflow.
Navigate to the Labsheet Homepage: Once logged in, find your way to the Labsheet section by clicking 'Labsheets' in the left panel. This is where your data comes to life.
Create a New Labsheet: Click the '+ Create' to craft a new Labsheet.
Name Your Labsheet: Assign a name to your Labsheet that reflects the experiment or data it will contain. A clear, descriptive name works best.
Add a New Column/Property: To incorporate images, you'll need to add a new column specifically for this purpose. Click the ‘+’ icon at the far right of the table header to get started.
Name Your Image Column: Give your new column a name that indicates it will contain images, such as "Gel Images" or "Flow Cytometry Results."
Select 'Image' as Your Field Type: When specifying the type of your new column, choose ‘Image’. This ensures your Labsheet column is ready to handle visual data.
Add Other Columns/Properties: Besides images, your Labsheet might require additional data points. Add any other columns or properties as needed.
Save Your Labsheet: With all the necessary columns in place, save your Labsheet. It's now ready to be populated with data and images.
Open Your New LabSheet and Add Images: Navigate to your newly created Labsheet. Click the ‘+’ icon in your image column to add an image.
Upload Your Image File: From your computer, tablet, or iPad, select the image file (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc) you wish to upload. This process seamlessly integrates visual data into your Labsheet.
Close the Modal: Once the upload is complete, close the modal window. Your image is now embedded in your Labsheet, alongside the corresponding sample information.
This feature not only simplifies the documentation process but also empowers scientists with better insights and a more intuitive way to analyze results.
Embrace the power of visual data with Scispot’s Labsheet and take your research documentation to the next level.
