Welcome to our simple guide on the new Scispot dashboard. This tutorial is designed to enhance your lab management by teaching you how to swiftly access recent experiments, monitor their progress through comprehensive activity logs, and utilize the Knowledge Graph for improved data insights. Additionally, we've made it easier and quicker to create new Labspace, Labsheet, Manifests, and more, aiming to significantly reduce the number of clicks and streamline your workflow.
Steps to Follow:
Log In: Enter into your Scispot account
Visit the Scispot login page.
Enter your credentials.
Recent: Quickly access the most recent projects, experiments, or inventory items that you or your team have worked on.
Locate 'Recent' on the dashboard
Click ‘Recent’ to check all the recent contents you are working on (both Labsheets and Labspace)
You can even check the same for your team, by clicking the ‘Filter by all’ option
Experiment Tracker: Keep a pulse on the status of ongoing experiments within your lab or company-wide.
Find the Experiment Tracker.
Now click the ‘Experiment Tracker’ tab to specifically check your recent experiments
You can even check the status at the protocol level by expanding the experiment based on embedded protocols.
Knowledge Graph: Effortlessly search through your Scispot data, identifying patterns and correlations that drive scientific insights.
Now scroll down to go to Knowledge Graph
You can click the ‘Expand’ icon
Now on the search tab, you can enter the specific Labsheet, and Labspace name and Knowledge Graph will show you the chain of custody of your specific Labsheet/Labspace page
You can click each node shown on the Knowledge Graph
Click ‘Go to page’ to check the individual content.
Quick Access: Instantly create a new Labspace, Labsheet, or Manifest and manage sample locations seamlessly from your dashboard.
Click ‘Create Labspace’ to create a new Labspace without navigating to the Labspace home page
Click ‘Create Labsheets’ to create a new Labsheet without navigating to the Labsheet home page
Click ‘Create Manifests’ to create a new Manifest without navigating to the Manifest home page
