The Power of the Super Admin

Super Admins in Labsheets and Labspaces are central to ensuring data security and effective user management. They have comprehensive control over the digital environment, balancing flexibility and security in managing sensitive lab data.
Key Features and Responsibilities
Total Access Control: Super Admins have unparalleled read/write access across all domains in Labsheets and Labspaces, including private pages by other members or admins.
User Role Management: They are responsible for modifying user roles, and aligning team members' access levels with their responsibilities.
Granular Permissions Setting: They can assign and change access levels (view/edit) for any user, ensuring precise control over data access.
Step-by-Step Guide for Super Admins to store, access, and manage confidential projects:
Accessing the Account
Log in using your credentials.
Assigning Roles to Users:
Navigate to 'Users'.
Click 'Invite Users'.
Enter the email ID and the associated name of the user.
Select the user type: ADMIN, MEMBER, or VIEW ONLY.
Confirm by clicking the 'Submit' button.
Creating and Managing Private Folders:
Go to the Labspace homepage.
Click on 'Create New' and select 'Folder'.
Name the folder according to the project or data type.
Set the folder to 'Private' and manage permissions.
Use the 'Share' icon to add users.
Assign 'Editor' or 'View Only' access as needed.
Confirm by clicking 'Share'.
Within this folder, create public protocols, experiments, and documents that are accessible only to users you have granted specific permission levels.
Managing Private Pages Inside a Private Folder:
Create private pages for budgets or SOPs within a private folder.
These pages are inaccessible to others (including users assigned to the same folder, unless they are Super Admins).
To share a private page, go to the three dots and click 'Share'.
Share selectively with Admins, setting controlled access (Editor/View Only).
Remove Users from specific Private Folders:
Select your specific Private Folder and click the three dots
Click the share icon
Check the list of users with whom the folder is already shared
Click the drop-down option for specific user whom you want to remove from the access list
Select 'Unshare'
Click the 'Save' button
