Overview
Scispot now lets users embed specific Labsheet views directly inside Labspace pages. This means you do not have to bring in the full Labsheet every time. You can choose the exact view that matters for that Labspace and keep the page focused.
This is helpful when a Labsheet has many views for different teams, workflows, or stages of work. Instead of showing all records or unrelated columns, you can surface only the relevant view inside the Labspace page. It makes Labspace pages cleaner, easier to review, and easier to work in.
Embedding a Specific Labsheet View in a Labspace Page
Go to the experiment or protocol page.
Type / and select Labsheet.
Choose the Labsheet you want to embed in the experiment or protocol page.
The selected Labsheet will open in a pop-up window.
Next to the Search option, you will see a View selection option. By default, the Master View is shown.
Click the chevron next to Master View to see the other available views in the Labsheet.
Select the view you want to use.
Choose the records you want to embed in the protocol or experiment.
The Labsheet will be embedded with the selected records and the selected view.
Conclusion
Embedding specific Labsheet views inside Labspace pages helps reduce clutter and keeps the page focused on the exact data needed for that experiment.
Instead of embedding the full Labsheet, users can choose the view that fits their workflow and surface only the relevant records.
This makes Labspace pages cleaner, more relevant, and easier to work with.
