Function: The details panel of a sample in Scispot provides a complete history of all changes made to that sample. This ensures full traceability and transparency across the sample’s lifecycle. Note that any actions performed before the implementation of the Activity Log have not been recorded.

Use Case: A researcher reviewing a sample before running an assay can quickly check its details panel to confirm when it was last updated, who modified it, and whether any columns have changed.

You can use the details panel of a sample to view all the changes that have been made to it.

  • Open the details panel by hovering over the row and clicking on the expanding arrows on the left of the entry

  • The Activity Log is at the bottom of the Details panel.

The Activity Log contains time-stamped information, such as edits to specific columns, and who made the edit. The Activity Log can be filtered by time frame and column type. You can also download the Activity Log as a pdf.
